Week 6: A Beginner’s Guide to Mindfulness & Meditation with Alex Bannard
Week 6: Attitudes of mindfulness - Loving kindness meditation
Mindfulness is not a complicated concept, it’s just not that easy to do, otherwise we’d all be doing it! It is a practice for the mind which helps us to become more consciously aware of what we are thinking, how we are feeling, behaving & what we are doing. This is a crucial element in helping to manage menopause symptoms.
In this course you will learn the fundamentals to establishing your own meditation & mindfulness practice, the subtle difference between meditation & mindfulness, their use in your daily life & how this can help you during the life changing transition that is peri-menopause & menopause. You will also learn how to practice mindfulness formally & informally, how to meditate & the benefits of these practices. You will begin to understand that these practices are less about doing & more about being.
Alex has practiced meditation & mindfulness for more than a decade & found them to be hugely beneficial in her own menopause journey in create a lifing in which she is thriving & you can too. Alex has been teaching meditation & mindfulness since returning to the UK in 2017.
