Week 2: Yoga for Every Body with Louise Pitman

Would you like to give yoga a try but worry that your body is not flexible enough, strong enough or that your balance is not good enough? Well this yoga practice really is for Every Body. Join Louise for a chair based practice which will progress to standing poses using the chair as support. Each week we will build on the previous practice so you can see the progress in your strength, flexibility & balance. The asanas (poses) are much the same as you’d do in a mat based practice, but the chair becomes part of the shape.
What will you need? A dining chair. Ideally one on which you can touch your feet to the floor. A flat block can be used to put your feet on. A tennis ball for some of the sessions. It’s still useful to have a mat as you’ll be standing for some of the practice.
